Terms of Service Agreement
By scheduling an appointment with Oceanic Repair Services LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Diagnosis and Repair:
We will diagnose the issue with your appliance and provide necessary repairs using standard industry practices.
Access and Safety:
You must provide clear access to the appliance and a safe working environment for our technician, this includes securing pets in an alternate room/location and supervising any children that may be on location. You are responsible for providing access to functional power, hookups & emergency shutoffs ahead of the service visit. If a utility is in disrepair, it may require correction by utility provider and/or plumber/electrician before service can resume. If at any point our technician feels he cannot safely perform his duties within the conditions provided on site, the visit may be discontinued and/or cancelled.
Standard Charges:
Diagnostic charge of $195 covers diagnostic time and travel expenses and is due at first visit. This is non-refundable if a technician has been on site, regardless of outcome.
Balance of labor, parts and materials required to complete the repair will be due upon return.
We charge a flat rate fee for repair per appliance, beginning at $250, depending on type of appliance and scope of work. The diagnostic charge is applied toward the labor fee at completion of service.
A deposit may be required for special order items and/or high dollar repairs.
Services performed under Manufacturer Warranty: Charges MAY be due to homeowner/designated representative under the following conditions: Visit charge of $195 plus tax applies if you cannot provide the model and serial number and any requested supporting warranty documentation for your product in order to verify the warranty ahead of your service visit. Manufacturer does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, or issues beyond the scope of our expertise (e.g., electrical wiring, plumbing). If manufacturer denies coverage after services have been performed, those charges are the responsibility of the homeowner/representative requesting service.
Finally, failure to adhere to Oceanic Repair Services LLC's terms-of-cancellation will result in a cancellation fee due to the homeowner at a rate of $115 plus tax.
Parts & Materials: Our office and technicians will keep you informed throughout the service process of any required parts and their costs before ordering and/or installing. We aim to communicate regularly anticipated delivery dates based on estimates provided to us by the manufacturers & suppliers when available. If parts and/or materials cannot be sourced, we will discuss alternative options with you.
Terms of Scheduling: A credit card must be placed on file before any appointment will be confirmed, regardless of warranty status. Cancellation/No-Show Fee: Failure to have a representative on site for scheduled appointment window and/or to notify our office of cancellations or the need to reschedule the appointment with less than 24 business hours will result in trip charge being due for that original time slot at a rate of $115 plus tax. Payment is due within 15 calendar days to avoid collections activity and/or denial of future service. (732) 720-4005 /service@oceanicrepair.com can be utilized for quick communication of scheduling needs.
